My First Day

This is my very first day as a blogger. I'm not really sure how this works, my assumption is that you just write about whatever makes you happy that other people may enjoy too.

So....
About me, I am a mother first, girlfriend second, and crazy crafter third (although my boyfriend may argue that order).
My daughter's name is Molly. She is almost 2 1/2 and she is the light of my life. She is very good at playing with her toys and letting me sew or crochet or whatever project I happen to be working on.
She is even starting to be a crafter herself (she likes to paint).
My boyfriend (Ryan) is wonderful, and although he is not her father, he is a great parent. He has been very patient with Molly and I with all of the supplies that go along with living with crafters.

Lately I have been enjoying sewing, and crochet work, especially with winter coming. I make all kinds of things though. I make jewelry, wire work, and cross stich. I have even tried candles and soap (did not enjoy that as much though).

So anyway if any of these things sound interesting to you please stop by my shop at www.sue114.etsy.com and support my crafting habit.

  1. Congratulations on your first blog! I enjoyed reading it and enjoyed looking at your website on Etsy. I like your bags. I make floral wreaths and arrangements but I also enjoy sewing. I can't draw to save my life either, maybe someday I'll take a class! Georgy

  2. Sue,

Congratulations on the new blog. I also started a blog a few days ago so I'm going through growing pains just like you. Good luck with the blog and your etsy store. You have some nice items.

  4. Hi! I love your dolls; they are darling. I started a blog recently too - last month. It's so much fun! I also totally know what you mean about all the supplies that come with the crafting life. I used to have stuff everywhere and "tamed" my spare/craft room just last week. I look forward to your posts!
